Registered Acupuncturist

Dr. Izabella Costa holds a license as a Registered Acupuncturist with the College and Association of Acupuncturists in Alberta. She graduated with honors in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture in 2019. In addition, she is also a Doctor of Dental Surgery with a Doctor’s Family (Public Health) Specialization. Dr. Costa is dedicated to providing a holistic approach addressing the patients’ needs considering them as a whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health, while taking social factors into consideration. She believes when acupuncture is performed by a skilled and well-educated practitioner, it is safe and could have an incredible result for many different disorders, including headaches, nervous pain states, neck, shoulder and back pain, rheumatic pain states, sciatica, sports injuries, reproductive system disorders, PMS, fatigue, depression, and more!

Dr. Costa is committed to providing a safe clinic environment, maintaining general infection prevention and control, and risk management in her acupuncture procedures.
